I’ve only just learnt this – because I listened to Ann Jones “What the Duck” in the car just now.

OK, I’ve heard about this for a couple of years now. It appears in some lists of strange facts.

You could try this dress.

The David Jones houndstooth pattern may work even better.

You could try this dress.

The David Jones houndstooth pattern may work even better.


They said on the ABC thing (which I see is now linked in JustIn today) it is probably the high contrast. And they also said that on close examination, it looks like the flies either bump into the stripey animal, or veer away at the last minute. The suggestion there was that it had something to do with the landing being made wonky.
