Subject: Eucalyptus oil

I’m curious. I just used some Eucalyptus oil to clean up a bottle that I’d peeled the label off. And I realized I’ve got no idea what the chemical reason is that this works. Because work it does. Anyone know? Googling just want to sell you Eucalyptus oil or tell you what you can use it for, even if I include words like chemical reaction in the search terms.
