I was given a plant which didn’t make it and this grew in its pot after the fact , the pot in sitting in another cast iron pot , so there is a bit of water capture when it rains

That may be what it is but I’m not convinced yet.

similar but the brazillian is not quite as pointy around the edges of the leaf

OK. There is a plant which grows here that does have a different colour on the underside. Has leaves that look llike yours from the top.
