I’ll start.

The birth of aviation begins in 1903 (or thereabouts)
The birth of the modern jet age begins with the entry of the Boeing 707 into commercial service in 1958 (Not counting the DH Come)

The gap between the Wright Bros and the 707 is less than the gap between the 707 and now, bya;most a decade.

That’s another interesting factoid.

Some languages other than English has different words for “we”..

i.e.
“you and me’ exclusively
“you and me, plus some others”:
“all of us together” (society or even humankind worldwide)
“me and some others but not you”

And we need more descriptive words for relatives

Aunt & Uncle is a catch-all for:

Father’s brother
Father’s Brother’s wife or partner

Father’s sister
Father’s sister’s husband or partner

Mother’s brother …
etc
etc

Enough of this stuff about the location of our feet.

My interesting factoid is that the strongest available concrete has a higher strength to weight ratio than mild steel (in compression).

I know that the stuff my septic tank was made of was harder than most things I’ve seen.
Noticed when they were breaking it up and dumping it down its own hole.

a factoid is a falsehood that has been repeated so many times that it becomes accepted as fact.

so a ‘true factoid’ is an interesting use of the words.

But the feet don’t appear at conception.

I think it’s reasonable to limit the time to the point at which the feet would have been able to contact the surface of the moon, had they been transported there.

It was very fast progress for the first stretch, but unfortunately that’s the effect of two world wars which substantially aided aircraft development.
