G’day. So much for fishin at home.
They lost a bunch of equipment down a 60 million dollar well.
So with a phone call and 2hrs notice, (remembered to disconnect the boat battery this time), i was drivin to Brisvegas, got on a flight to Cairns where i arrived at midnight.
Got 4 hrs in a hotel then on a flight back to Moresby. A 3 hr turnaround then i had an internal flight to Kiunga. So, a 44hr marathon session, FISHING FOR LOST ^#&% equipment in the ^%)(&^W#%%!@$ gas well, with the added pressure that if unsuccessful it would be the probable loss of our upcoming contracts, for which this job is a test run. (Not the type of fishing i was planning.)
Now they don’t want me to go home until the job ends, in a week or so unless it goes pear shaped again, following which i am due to be back in POM as manager. Funny old world innit!

That “okay” translates into “alive and well” … if you’re “in fine form”, that’s a bonus…

Is the above your excuse? Pretty feeble really! LOL. Something I learnt when I was a lot younger than you are was….never be too good at what you do. Unless of course the payment is worth it.

The fact that we were concerned at you being missing from the ranks should be enough to raise your self esteem. We don’t want to over do it you know.

Is that right Pom! I thought it was statement saying i was OK, as opposed to someone saying something more negative about me, which i may have missed in another thread. Yep. It did go well. Got the bludger out at the end of the 44 hours. Otherwise i’d still be at it and not here checking in with you lot.
