I have 2 emails of photos with descriptions of how vast the floods are affecting them. Also photos of the water running between buildings. Due to how Deb sent them…I can’t save them as attachments to post here.

Started a new thread so the requests aren’t lost.

If you would like to see the photos please let me know. You are most welcome to view them.

Here is Fred doing his nap thingo and he’s been such a good boy. Deb could get a face photo due to all the water around him.

!Photobucket!

A contented porker! Especially considering there’s not much dry ground that I can see…he’s got lots of space….

That’s the blade roast in the pressure cooker…with the remains of a drink called “Boronia” and some sweet sherry…not sure how this will work…I would like some plastico vino (e.g. Bud Naked) but MrD regards it as his life’s mission to make short work of these…

Yes..lol

They were just about to pain out their bedroom and in came that flood.

Until you see those photos, we really have no idea of the size….their tiny homestead and buildings against all that water.

No they haven’t said anything about this as of yet.

The single lad yesterday took a 4 wheel drive vehicle and made it to Yunta. Had to di his way out a couple of times I think Deb said. So tomorrow the owner is going to drive from Adelaide to Yunta and backtrack to the station. He’ll bring anything they need and collect the mail from Burra for them…..so he’s going the scenic way for sure. Just hope he doesn’t get more rain.

I mean all that crying will be a good outlet…and a good night’s sleep has great restorative powers as we all know…shame she has to keep waking up to the “nightmare” tho’…
