It’s a bit of a turn around from countries actively courting foreign nationals with citizenship and other goodies if they invest money or buy properties. I think Portugal has seen a lot of digital nomads immigrating there for 5 or so years with only now it copping a bit of pushback from citizens.

Just have to move to the Persian gulf states where there’s no sign of governments changing their mind on this issue.
