No. I gave up my limited membership some time ago. Since Covid my emotional involvement in the game has tanked quite a bit. Also, it all seems to have become a bit of posh private school boys gig over the last decade or so. Not my social scene.

Niot the crowd, the players, The players that get drafted at 17 or 18, are all posh school boys who play in the posh schools interschool competition, and these are the ones who make it into the ‘state schoolboys’ teams who go and compete every year in front of all the AFL recruiting staff. Most of the non-private school boys have to play local leagues and hope to get noticed and recruited as ‘mature age recruits’ in their early 20s.
