What the heck would AI have done for this study?

Apparently it sorted through the thousands of combinations of materials available to stop dendrites from forming.

From the article:

The professor believes that integrating AI with traditional materials science is what truly sets their work apart. The team accelerated the discovery and optimization process by using artificial intelligence to simulate and predict material behavior, eliminating the need for slow and labor-intensive experimental methods.

Meanwhile, artificial intelligence enabled the team to explore materials that were previously overlooked or deemed too complex for traditional analysis, opening up new possibilities for innovation in energy storage technology.

Calling it more than just a tool, Ang described AI as the key to unlocking a future filled with limitless possibilities. “AI allows us to innovate rapidly and create solutions that can reshape the world,” he said, adding that the find is aimed at improving battery technology and helping pave the way for a more energy-efficient future.

That’s encouraging.

Still, I’m glad zinc is back on the table.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh……. dendrites, the worst kind of rites there ever was

The world must be warned

I would have thought “last rites” would be top of the list for worst rites to have.

You could be unvincible.

I did my lucky three a few days ago

Day 1: sent help to someone suffering some mental breakdown on the Bruce highway in the middle of nowhere

Day 2: saving a bird that knocked itself silly by glancing off a shop window

Day 3: helping an old bloke get some accommodation in a city he visited on a whim, no phone or means of finding out much.
