Yep. That’s true. ;)
SA won the toss and elected to bowl, brave.
I’d imagine Spot will be No. 3 and Green will be at 4.

Can’t watch the videos stream, but it looks like Green lasted 3 balls and was out edging to the first decent pone he faced. Judging by the commentary on the Cricinfo.

Rabada to Green, OUT
edged and brilliantly caught at second slip! Great delivery. Full and angled in on off, wobble seam, it nipped away a touch as Green played slightly across the line and a thick edge flies low to second and Markram dives forward to pouch it in two hands just above the turf

glanced fine off the toe! 131kph, full inswinger way down leg, he flicked a glance and it ran off the toe fine of fine leg

Sorry, only just got that.
I was saying I am not convinced that batting Green at number 3 was a good idea. I think he is more a middle order batter. I was not doubting the link you posted.

Agree about that batting order decision.
He was out to the first good ball he faced. First ball was down leg side, and then second was wide outside off. Third ball was good line & length and he edged it.
AUS 4/67 at lunch.
.. and I think much of the country has already lost interest in this match
Aus.. All out 212

That’s a good start to knock over the top four quickly.
Congratulations Steve Smith. Highest scoring visitor to Lords.

We got one earlier, LBW, but there was the slightest of edges as it passed the bat. So it was overturned.

Too much limited over slap tickle cricket, it’s ruining the game.

Yes and a round of cucumber sandwiches thanks Nigel.
Are they all on the plane home yet?
I reckon we need at least 50 from our remaining 2 batsmen.

Seems the ball might be dominating the bat, this test.

Yes. Problem is we don’t seem to have found a proper opener to replace Warner yet. So the whole of the batting line-up is out of whack.

No, since they’[re all booked into the hotel for 5 days, i reckon they’ll all be out for golf on any free days they get.

So ya reckon it’s on a knife edge?. Hanging in the balance? Could go either way? or an each way bet sorta game?
2/188
We just need another couple.. .. of collapses..
South Africa to resume today 2/213, needing another 69 runs to win. Australia needing 8 wickets for less than that.
Looks like bowling first was the correct call, the pitch getting easier to bat on as the game progresses.
SA only need 3 runs now, 5 wickets down.
Looks like a good solid win for them.
All done
SA win by 5 wickets
