Have any of you got a currently working URL for SciHub? I’ve been using .se but it’s no longer working. I understand the Big Publishers are attacking it again.

Annas-archive.org holds SciHub papers but I believe SciHub themselves have paused uploading of new papers.
When I searched for a paper, it gave me Eussian words meaning

sci-net.xyz exists but its use is not as easy

try sci-hub.red
Nup, just get something that looks like a sentence in Russian at the top of the page. I contacted the author of the paper I was wanting to read and she sent me a pdf. I hadn’t wanted to bother her, but without SciHub I would have to pay $60 for the paper. I’m not that interested in it.

I just tried sci-hub.red again and got the sci-hub page, as I did before I posted the link. Dunno what’s going on.

The SciHub red page opens, but when you put in a DOI it just goes to a line of possibly Russian.

No, SciHub is not exactly liked by the big publishers of scientific papers. Because it lets you read them without paying for the privilege. The paper I wanted to read would be $60 to buy. So every now and then the publishers do stuff to SciHub and it has to move address.

And I just tried with a random DOI and it’s working again.
