Going on the way wickets have been falling. This may well be true.
However, it is a funny old game so everybody will be on the edge of their seats.

New rule proposal: there should b e a minimum of four says cricket at each venue.

If the test is over in two days, then the teams should play a two-day exhibition match of 90 overs each. If done inside three days they play a 45 over exhibition match.

Another botched video call. If that ball had enough of it missing the stumps there was still enough hitting to take the bails off.

England are playing this like a t20 game, it’s their only chance of winning.

Another two day test match. There needs to be a royal commission and the minister must resign.

Some interesting facts I learnt from the wireless on my way home.
The MCG pitch had plenty of grass, it is normally cut to 7mm, this pitch was cut to 10mm.
The kookaburra ball has had the seam raised a year or so ago, affording more swing and movement off the wicket.
Over.

Serves the grounds man right for giving a No 3 haircut instead of a No 2.
