“You know how we told you all that the Olympics were going to cost this much? Well, turns out that was bullshit, that was just the starting figure. We’re now looking at a money pit that isn’t going to need a trainload of cash, it’s going to need a 100,000 tonne bulk carrier of cash. Maybe two. Or three. Just close your eyes and think of the prestige.”

so as part of the fascists team we’ll have to cancel it

oh wait buying the armaments for our team also cost a nominal amount which is going to blow out bigger than the weapons they can launch

is it true though

Gu is competing in women’s freeski slopestyle, big air and halfpipe and said she “should not be penalised” for “daring to be the only woman to compete in three events”.

only 1 woman doing 3 events

we guess men are just better

Michael Phelps holds the record for the most events and medals at a single Olympics, winning eight gold medals in eight events at the 2008 Beijing Games. He achieved this unprecedented feat by competing in and winning five individual events and three relays, setting world records in seven of them.

then again we’ve encountered this kind of you can’t do 3 or more events thing before

Surely gender should not necessarily be a consideration?
Comparing a swimmer with a skier is strange as Phelps had many more events to compete in and thus be able to win. Swimming isn’t half as dangeroous as skiing is.
