This year Australia have a better chance with the song Eclipse performed by Delta Goodrem.

The controversial song this year is apparently a nasty number from Romania called Choke Me that glamorises sexual strangulation

In contrast, Australia’s offering is a classic Eurovision love anthem whose weakness is perhaps that it sounds too much like 100,000 other Eurovision songs.

But who knows. Will it take us far or sink without trace? Only time will tell.

…BTW Australia will appear in Semi Final 2, not tomorrow’s Semi Final 1.
