From the O’Reilly’s site.

It seems sightings of the reliable Wedge Tail Eagles have been more regular since O’Reilly’s new Birds of Prey show commenced, with wild birds showing much interest in the show birds (we have 3 eagles). Morning, mid day and afternoon low passes are commonplace.

In perhaps the most extraordinary feat (apart from show eagles landing next to nearby picnic goers and walking back to the show sometimes) recently a show bird with a large bone in tow broke rank and took flight towards a wild eagle flying overhead. As the two merged they locked talons and exchanged the bone in some kind of token eagle ‘moment’. Onlookers were awestruck at this amazing natural encounter with a gasped ‘Wow’ echoing through the crowd.
