Just discussing on the radio now.
Donating your body (when you are dead of course) to train cadaver dogs and forensic pathologists.
Bury you, train the dogs to find you, dig you up and forensic pathologists study how long you’ve been buried etc.
Would you do it?
AFTER (Australian Facility for Taphonomic Experimental Research): Located at the Hawkesbury campus on the outskirts of Sydney, this is a dedicated “body farm” operated by UTS. They facilitate research into human decomposition, which includes training police and specialist detection dogs.

I’ve been considering this for quite a while. After a novel I read…called iirc, The Body Farm.

I wouldn’t mind cooking and eating it, but that’s not very practical when dead.

How many questions will be asked if someone was to …say …donate a body that is not strictly theirs? Asking for a friend.

Use a fake ID and say it’s yours, you’ve just temporarily possessed another body.

Couldn’t she just save them the time and trouble, and tell ‘em it’s the glass of single malt whisky and a good cigar every night that does it…

Heh heh heh.
I could save them the time and say it’s her sheer bloody mindedness.
I did find a bottle of sherry under her sink a few months back. No cigars though. She probably keeps them under her bed….
