Progress has been made in the TV room, hall and little office room. There is a way to go

I am not sure what colours to go for at this stage.

Anyone with any suggestions?

I think we should turn the big room into a roller disco.

But seriously, not sure. The office room should be made into a proper office I reckon. All our paperwork, etc, all done there.

FWIW that’s my wireless repeater. It’s not a regular one from the shops, it’s a business-grade Cisco unit with more grunt. Mate of mine gave me three, surplus to requirements. It’s up high to get the best range out of it.

That’s the actual router/modem in the corner. It’s an NBN unit (see the box on the wall) but we’re waiting for them to run a fibre from the street into the house for it work. I’ll be getting/building a corner shelf to put all that gear on to tidy it all up. I’ll be adding a large switch somewhere there to tidy up the wiring.

My favorite paint colour is a Haymes colour called “Just Green”. I’ve used it quite a lot over the years, but I suspect it has been discontinued now. It is as it says, a very, very pale green. Ceilings should be off white so they are not stark, but reflect the light around the room.

I got overwhelmed when making choices for our house renovations. I kept some things simple. White interiors works best. The colour buffy uses appears to be a white with a green tinge. Get a a few sample pots of different whites. Cool and warm tones etc. Do some sample patches on various walls.

Did you know that “ceiling white” is white with a smidgen of black pigment added.

I don’t think you can make the wrong choice with paint.. if you don’t like it, repaint. It’s not permanent.

Not everyone has the resources to repaint.

Something to save a bit of space – a combined stove/oven/dishwasher.

(No, just no)

Apparently double drawer dishwashers are the go. (Spoken as somebody without any dishwasher)

We’re likely to fit two dishwashers. One for the clean stuff and the other for dirty stuff. The drawers on the double units look a bit small.
(Maybe …)

Hmmm … now that I look at them, they might be a good thing.
