Biosecurity QLD recommends that manure be left bagged for at least 4 days to ensure any virus is dead. Obviously no quarrantined properties wont be passing on manure but the virus can be shed before symptoms appear.

I’d say that’s a fair guess. That’s what I thought when I first heard it. Now they are warning against the dangers of horse manure. They must have thought about it too.

I rang and asked about manure, thinking I was being a bit silly, but the lady on the phone said it was something that had been discussed and she gave me the advice.
