It’s time to renew my car insurance and am thinking I could do better (read cheaper) than RACV. Any recommendations?

Whatever you do.. the only insurance is your driving.
Mr buffy looks after our insurances (he’s got the time to do comparisons) and he has bundled car and house with RACV I think. But we get substantial discounts because we have been with them forever and rarely claimed.

this was my situation also, but even with all that they weren’t the cheapest in the end. Have signed up with AAMI for the car. Will reassess the house when it comes due in a couple of months.
RACQ here and being a long time member, I get discount. I get a free windscreen each policy year. (Need that in Qld)

The A people dropped Mr buffy when he had an accident (his fault) . He’d been with them for about 8 years. At the time they were campaigning for new customers with a slogan about not dropping you if you had an accident….. Won’t go back there again.
