HP put a flea in my ear over on Face Book this evening…. so thought I’s stop and say hi….
Had Mrs. Drylander here for a few hours today. Good catching up with her. Didn’t see Mr. DL as he was at a meeting.
how have you and the Elf been going since we last spoke? All well I hope.

who?
I’m not gardening much these days;( hope to this spring/summer season though. Already planning on having clothes here full time for Super Coop as he’s going to be a green as green kinda kid.
Been busy sewing. Making quilts for the floods in the Eastern states earlier this year. Some went to the family who lost their baby, and both mums and the kids were in the house as their parents were washed away and mum was pregnant.
I organized over 80 HUGGLES to be made and sent over to a school called Grantham for the kids who had lost everything. I was sent a beautiful thank you card with lots of photos made into a col-large on one side to say thank you. I call my ladies (all over the world) HUGGLES Angels
Just finished getting over 100 HUGGLES (soft toys made by quilters) ready and are on their way with some people to Ethiopia. These people go once a year to their sponsored families in a town and help to build houses and such. They are taking a bag for each child they sponsor and inside will be a new handmade toy for them. For some children this will be their first new toy ever.
So I am not gardening much, miss you heaps and if your happy to read or skip my waffles…I’d love to come back with my water bottle…yes I am on the wagon…again…lol
sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy then :)

Not too bad…. He’s slowly getting over the pneumonia and I am having a visit to a sleep doc as I am not sleeping much at night. One night I wanted to bath the cats at 4 am. Pat had to convince me if I didn’t want to sleep he and the cats did.
Also I am having a scan on my neck soon. Had a lump come up. Responded to antibiotics but we just want to make sure all is okay now….
Are you still glad you asked???? LOL

I asked because I care. Glad to hear that the lump was responding and how the scan gives the all clear. This pneumonia has really knocked the Elf around, hasn’t it? I know it is always bad, but it seems to have been a while since he came down with it. Is your lack of sleep related to the Elf being so sick? I know you worry.

I wonder about that too…. when I go to bed I am tired and half asleep…head hits the pillow and BANG my brain goes into overdrive. Then I do go to sleep and wake up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night.

I know what it is like. For so long it seemed that I never got enough sleep. It really wears you down.

good’ay L1.
beautiful weather we’re having.
the warmth should help the elf – i’m hoping.
there is rain coming tomorrow so the sound of rain on the roof should improve your sleeping as well.
