Not sure what these are but they’re in plague proportions and if you disturb the leaves you end up with a cloud of them.
Also not sure if that’s what’s destroying the leaves, the only other bug I can find are ladybirds.

they might be sucking the sap out of the leaves, thus damaging them. Not sure what they are though.

they’re a seed bug, and will suck seeds and flowers, so yeah, not great if in plague proportion.

Cheers RB…they have actually died down, not so many around and not sure why. But I did end up cutting back all my silverbeet and the chooks got a good feed.
It is a bit hard to know when to treat problems at the moment with the heat & humidity we’re getting.

The bugs in your photos always turn up here just before stormy weather hits in summer. Are usually gone within a couple of days of arrival.
