Ype, and okra too.
According to moon planting guidelines the 25th and 26th are perfect days, and the last for a while.

No, wait untill Friday or Saturday. Also, dont plant any green leafy things as they will run to seed. On Thursday deliberately plant for seed production, ie: corriander or fennel.

Yes, I’ll send it to you. It finishes at the end of the month and I havnt got the new one yet.
You should email and get put on the mailing list. I am having trouble with my favourites and cant get the website up. Go to the new gardening forum set up by Cosmic Gardener and look around for an addy there. If you dont have the site address, Lucky has it.
i am already joined up joined half way into this month didnt get the copy.
so i plant pumkins now wont they be a bit to early…anyone know when i can plant cape gooseberrys again??
I find a very, very basic moon planting guide to be the plant above ground crops on the waxing (filling UP moon) and root crops on the waning (going DOWN) moon. If I miss getting things in before the full moon then I may as well wait ‘til the next new moon… Seems to work OK for me.
Tomatoes also do better where I am (sub-Tropics) in cooler months than in Summer – mainly because of the humidity and fruit fly problems than anything else. As long as soil temperature is warm enough, some things are less fussy about season than others…:)

you have to go via lucky to get me.
i’m not into moon planting for pots. i don’t disagree with it and i plant during a waxing moon if possible – but i’m a son of sun planting.
veg, if you have room and enough light to keep your tomatoes in your hot house over winter then why not try a few, but I expect you would get frost in your area so they will not do well out in the ground until spring. If you only have a bit of light in the hothouse then I think they would get too lanky and wouldn’t be as strong as you would want.

If you keep them in small pots, plant them out in the warmer weather yes….give it a try.
Keep notes on when you start them off, this will be a help to you in future years. The only thing that could go wrong is…… its not successful…… I’d give it a try….
ok i will give it a try
