If you’re a novice at HTML, or just trying to remember how you used to do it, take a look at the source (View Source) of any page you like the look of, to see what the poster has done to get that effect.


This is as good a site as any to pick up some suggestions on HTML Color names.


(I’ve set the link, which points to http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colornames.asp, by the way, to open in a new window. If you don’t want your link to open in a new window, leave out the target=”_blank” part in your HTML coding.)

<b> is to make things appear bold.

I don’t seem to able to get different fonts to work. I’m choosing fonts installed in my Windows Fonts folder, but they’re apparently not able to display.
