Blogging is amazing… you have control of what you publish and what you pop up on your blog.

You can publish as little or as often as you want.

The topic you cover is of your choice.

Some of the things that interest people on say a gardening blog are…….

seeds
what you are growing
photos of what is growing
what you are harvesting
what your fav hand tool is and why
animals
what you cook with the harvested foods
soils and what you do with them……

what do you think would be good???

Be a help for VG……….

..how good it is for the environment to grow your own food and become a good land manager.

The learning, the fitness..the pure joy of creating something and how your home grown food’s taste so much better.

Gardeners are the only sort that I know will happily accept they made a mistake and just vow to do it better next time.

You have enthusiasm , especially for the unknown ,and are more content and relaxed.

Mr BG has started using it recently. Has found a few old (and made new) friends as a result.

Mr Y has a 26yo daughter in England, he hasn’t seen her since she was a toddler (loooong story). He’s had the Salvos try to trace her twice, both times they came back with a negative.

Someone told him about Facebook, he typed in some names of old friends etc, found his daughter!!!

She won’t reply to his messages, but at least he can look at her site and see photos of her. It’s all good.

Bimbo has a facebook for her trip OS. She has found some of her primary mates from her Whyalla school days.

Also, my niece and nephew who live nearly 200 km away and have left home, have MySpace sites, so I keep an eye on them through that. I’ve never met either of their partners, but have seen photos on the net!

The fact that she hasn’t done so, knowing that he’s sent her messages through the site, makes me think that she isn’t totally closed. Maybe one day she’ll want to get to know him. There’s always hope.

predators – ladybirds and such – when they arrive and how many?

worm densities in the soil – it varies between 0 -300 per sq. m.
if a fork has 30 worms in the soil it turns over – you have got saturation level.

fertiliser and compost.
