Lovelock, the inventor of Gaia, & the scientist who stated-

“as a result of global warming, “billions of us will die and the few breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable” by the end of the 21st century”

now says that “Gore, Flannery, Himself & other like them were wrong & alarmist about global warming.”

““The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time… it (the temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising — carbon dioxide is rising, no question about that.”

If he really said that, why would anyone take any notice of what he is saying now?

It is true that Gore, Flannery and Lovelock made alarmist statements.

It is good that Lovelock has resiled from these statements.

It is true, on the other hand, that the climate has changed faster than actual climate scientists predicted 20 years ago.
