I got a message from her this morning. She says:

I’m awake finally. All ok and resting. Whopper pain killers keeping me asleep. They will get me walking today. Say hello to everyone. It’s taken me an hour to do this message because I keep falling asleep. Oh and I have these cool air filled plastic bags on my legs that have air waves in them. It prevents clots. It feels like hands massaging your legs. Nice :)

I told her we were thinking of her and to be good and do as she is told. She replied:

Aw hehe. I’m being good. Thank yous. Mr HPs going to being a giant coffee. Hehe. Flying high on all these drugs.

sounds like she is in good spirits. I’d like to see Mr HP as a giant coffee! lol! Mr HP my words to protect the innocent :D

Message from HP

Update. I’ll be in hosp a bit longer because swelling from the op is causing a few probs. like numbness in my left leg and I can walk but not far and only with help. That should go away. My blood pressure is low they wonder how I manage to stand anyway I’ve lost a bit of weight but I could afford it. I may have to go to rehab hosp after this one. I’ll let u know how I go. Ps I had a dream you hooked the bullocks up to the canoe and got them to pull you up mt buffalo. lol.

they are like cricketers shin pads and are just that extra help to guard from leg blood clots; i found them reassuring, and they felt good.
ive had some hilarious phone conversations with the man who has been trying to keep house and home going, and today was watering day. he said this is really hard, but i cannot think of whats so hard about watering… those hight pots he said, how do i reach them… haha i dont dear, i adjust the water nozzle so its somewhere between soft spray and the start of jet spray. i cant even think of how he was doing it, and hes tall!
