I’m seeing a lot of woo about this “alignment” of Earth, Moon, Sun, Pleiades and the “galactic centre” (never mind the stuff about Mayan prophecy that comes up in Google). I’m trying to find some science but it ain’t working. Can anyone here help??

Everything to the east of Grenwich is east, you have middle east and far east, Ireland is the far far east, and everything to the west of Grenwich is the west, the far far west would be say Italy.

Can’t be that good an alignment because the Pleiades aren’t really on the ecliptic.

Though they are in the right demisphere.
