I like watching those cop shows, they are down on pot thats for sure, and to a silly and disproportionate extent. Arranging busts which were basically just selling joints.

the secret is that if you know you will get busted for some trivial offence go down in a hail of bullets, it will be better than being subjected to torture in the prisons. the people of the middle east learnt this and simply expanded their suicide bomber programme. if you know the enemy will torture you go down in a hail of bullets or take great numbers of the enemy with you without the risk of torture.

do you think that coppers will try to arrest heavily armed pot smokers if they know that the immediate response will be 2 mags in quick succession?

Won’t be long now and there’ll be a politician that will piss it in with a landslide on the promise to release them.

Sentencing periods in the US are about 10 times what we’d get in Australia. And they’ve got the death penalty. It’s fantastic that they’re doing the experiment for us because when the usual idiots jump up and down about lenient sentencing we can confidently point across the Pacific in a nor-easterly direction and proclaim “Not working for them, is it!”
