“ Take Two “
(using Scrabble tiles but no board) Spread all tiles face down and mix
Each layer chooses 5 tiles Each player starst at same time (ie no turn-taking) When any player has used all tiles call, “Take Two”and all players pick up two tiles and all continue to make words. If all players use up their tiles at the same time ALL call and so all take two more tiles for each call (ie if four players then 8 tiles are picked up. Players continue to make words throughout. The winner is the first to have used all tiles when all are taken. Players may reshuffle their own placements and start again with a new arrangement of words if they wish. A commercial similar version called Bananagram has been produced; ruined bt being promoted as educational,
