Yes I went to Bunnings…. been a long time since I have been there. Picked up a punnet of parsley for the garden and 4 mouse traps.

I actually found the old fashioned wooden ones. Those plastic ones from the stupidmarkets don’t work for long.

Popped home cooked bread crusts on the traps and the mice said…“Thanks”…the rotters. I now have sultanas.

Seems to be the popular choice over on Face Book too. That and peanut paste.

I’m a big fan of pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds but watermelon, cucumber.. any seed that is flattish and can be secured tightly is fine.

I prefer the wooden traps too. I’ve spent decades keeping them hair trigger by sanding a bit of rust or tweaking the bend in a wire.

Gees girl you nearly lifted me from my seat..thought you’d bought up half the place, lol. That reminds me, I have parsley seeds somewhere.

There were no mice to be seen at my place as usual after knocking off the last lot, then I found out why..mice don’t have fat 30 cm tails..rats were keeping them down. Poison blocks placed in hidey places and we were picking up rats bodies from all over the yard for the next two weeks.
