dear forumers

recently it has come to my attention that an elderly man has been sending threatening letters and i have asked myself “wookiemeister, how could you get into the threatening letters game?”

would you get personal for example structure the letter as a form of personal attack on the person’s sexuality, physical deformity or some other personal tragedy?

would you go for the all out attack such as mr sms asking for spare change otherwise he’ll come round and kneecap you

do you threaten family or some cherished pet?

it seems to me that the art of the threatening letter has been lost in our modern world and we have lost these old fashioned values to instead threaten and intimidate people via twitter, sms etc.

i prefer the up close and personal threat like the time when my wife were threatened by an older gentleman late of a night whilst we were sleeping in a dodgy campsite i had decided to stay in to save money. it was so refreshing to see this old school charm and i gave him a cheery send off as the police whisked him off into the night.

You start another thread about letters and I’ll rip your head off and piss down the hole in your neck.

no pwm thats far too beneath you

that kind of threatening letter doesn’t do your flair justice

a threatening letter in my opinion should always contain some grim humour to counterpose the main thrust of the letter, without it the letter simply becomes like any other threatening letter that becomes too long winded and single minded.

Actually it’s a quote from A Few Good Men.
