Subject: What's in it for the animals?

There are many cases of a wide range of animals helping humans with many different health risk/problems, so what is in it for our animal friends? If you have any examples from personal experience, please share them here, some that I have heard are bordering on the spooky

As for what’s in it for the animals, I imagine for the trained ones it’s often just a small biscuit or similar edible treat :)
