Subject: Small leafed ivy

Can anyone tell me the name of an ivy like creeper with small leaves that doesn’t invade mortar? It’ll stick to anything, fence, bricks ect but is not invasive.
Any help appreciated.

you might be thinking of Virginia Creeper which attaches itself to walls with discs rather than roots. It has to be killed before it is removed though as it can still damage walls if you just try to pull it off.

As opposed to Ficus Pumila which provides attractive wall cover but its tendrils will “invade” the structure.

The latter is the one, thanks. Well I won’t be planting it then.

Yeah Ficus pumila is a bit nasty… pretty though.
