Thee the long sleeve thing doesnt work here for me i always can be found in short sleeved shirts but when i got into the garden in summer its a long sleeve shirt.

i love autumn because -
- the trees go all deciduousy
- pick the last of summer crops – pumpkins in particular but onions, last of beans, basil, silver beet and summer cabbages.
- the farmers next door plough their fields
I’m closing doors left open by someone else..
I can wear warm jumpers
Gardening is easier without the sweat dripping in your eyes
I’m in a better mood for cooking
It’s even harder to get out of bed in the morning !

Hell no, there’s no way you’re gonna get me washing dishes no matter how cold my hands are, LOL!!!
I wash the clothes, iron and cook, Mr Y washes up, the kids wipe up, the Feral Teenager cleans the bathrooms and vacuums through.
It’s a great system, and my hands are fine :-) without ANY washing up!!

ROFL, my feral has to fold the washing, empty the dishwasher, bins and vac on the odd occasion, and keep his pad tidy, which includes his own dunny and mopping the floor, and his own bedroom as well. Help withthe lawns, and weekly get the blower vac out and do the decking and all the front yard and verandah or he starves LoL.

suddenly a casserole doesn’t seem too hot a meal…

I can grow basil directly in the garden (sun isn’t so hot)…..
bug count is down..
frogs are discovered hibernating up and down the sides of an upturned pot that’s glazed on the inside…and whoops! there’s a burrowing frog hibernating in the soil of that pot so it’s out of bounds until warmer weather…
Weeds weeds glorious weeds are growing in my garden:D

Each night I pick 2 buckets of weeds for the gang. They love their weeds……… seems a waste to have them sitting in the garden covering the soil.
I have an area out the front dedicated to growing weeds for the gang:)

Pumkins soup is the best stuff. Had home made burgers for tea. :) they were good.

soup here tonight as well – lots of parsley in a kind of unintentional green soup.

yeah i hope it says well mum thinks i am yelling all the time, can be more silly now and mum wont hear me. she says what did you say Ben and i go nothing mum and laugh to myself. shh don’t let out my secret she is on the pc beside me.

could have saved on power by putting your jammies under the blankets to warm up with the electric blanket.
