The only cheese I had was mozzarella and I added the W sauce to the egg mixture. Because it was spur of the moment cooking it only soaked till the oven heated up.
Really easy and tasty.

last nights salads with a bit of steak. the salad was all homegrown (except in bracket ingredients) – boiled kiflers, snap peas and carrots in a full egg mayo – lettuce, radish, baby spinach and beetroot leaves, (apple slices, pecan, celery, wholegrain mustard seed, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, olive oil).

we sometimes buy marinara mix frozen in bags, and GF likes to pull out the occasional prawn for a Tom Yum soup or for other reasons, so sometimes we end up with no marinara mix per se but a handful of fish pieces. GF blended these fish chunks with some home made red curry paste, some lemongrass, galangal and kaffir lime leaves from the garden, some beaten egg and then turned this blended mix into little round balls which she gently deep fried. They puffed up into the perfect fish ball. Served with some deep fried crispy Thai basil and noodles. With home made sweet chile sauce.

Many siblings in GF’s family, so food was extremely valuable when growing up. No waste.

Interesting…
my brunch today consisted of Apricots cherries and peaches.. fresh off the trees. I could have said nectarine too but Mrs RB snatched the only one.
home fried chicken with alfalfa sprouts and fresh rye bread.
