Who is on the shortlist as the final cylon?

I have been thinking about the Gator option, and I suspect you are right.

He was missing from that “last supper” image, but is a major player.

The three obvious choices (The president, Starbuck or Baltar) all have visions and at least two of them are human, so precognition is not necessarily solely a cylon trait.

The Cylons seem to welcome the experience of pain, and Gator certainly did that in the last episode.

Yup – you’ve convinced me.

I certainly hope the scriptwriters address the history of the “five”, how and why they were on Earth, why te Cylons have forgotten about it, and how they ended up back in the fleet.

and I have a funny feeling that the last moment of ep 7 when the base ship jumps, that he may die and not be resurrected because there are no resurrection ships in the vicinity and they may never know that he existed..

Just watched Ep 9 – some of them battle scene shots were cool. They went a long way towards clearing up the mishmash of the last episode, but then ruined it with the “I love you”.

Still, not a bad episode.
