This information may help us work out a venue. I am quite happy to host something at my place (Moorooka – southside, 7 km from city centre) if you wish.

I must say, it is rare to get a 100 degree (old scale) day in Melbourne in the springtime.

I don’t know the specifics… Sb doesn’t like to plan ahead (which is probably why we haven’t even set a date for our wedding yet!). He said that we can stay overnight if somebody is willing to put us up for the night.

I can tell you I will be working that night, but if you’re still going strong when I finish, I’d love to meet you and Mr bird :-)

Sorry to be blunt, but if you don’t want to plan ahead and expect a group of disparate people to get together somewhere, you’re going to be disappointed.

I know I’m busy that evening and coming up to Christmas people are going to have things on so get in quick and set a time and place if you want people to get together.

Just had a lovely evening with Ms Spock.

Who took us to a great little food court down an alley then down some stairs and into a place full of asian food from everywhere… Peking Duck Laksa amongst other very yummy food :)

One more day left in Sydney :D

Sorry I missed it, but I had a rare trip to the movies that had been booked for weeks.

Unfortunately the drinks and food were very expensive there.

There was a hint of discussion last night about more puds in Brisbane. I may propose one here at my place in February (we should let the silly season and holidaze exhaust themselves), but I must discuss with Mrs V first.

At least drinking would be cheaper, and we could easily feed a whole troupe of people here for the price of one meal there.
