I’d be surprised if average daily coffee and tea consumption makes any difference to most people’s health one way or the other.

Indeed it does…of course, it depends on what you call ‘average’.

But not tea? I drink coffee when I eat out but at home I’m mostly a tea man.

A lot of people do that because it’s hard to get a good cup of tea from a restaurant, basically you get a small pot filled with lukewarm water with a cheap bag of tea sweepings in it.
