just read it in the daily mail that all jokes are to be banned in britain until a government enquiry into the matter can be formed

draft legislation suggests that no joke can be told until it has been approved by the ministry of silly jokes.

all comedy shows have been quickly dropped and comedians rounded up and detained in an undisclosed place

the director of the BBc has declared that “there is no place in our society for jokes and certainly not on the BBC” it has been proposed that endless reruns of monty python be shown in the place of comedy shows so that the BBc can share the loss.

al jazeera seems to show that in the middle east that all jokers have been simply executed in sympathy with the british decision

the board of independent television has released a comment that in the absence of comedy only wholesome entertainment such as the depictment of violence and torture be shown to stand shoulder to shoulder with the british public.

This series of events is so horrible that no one could have foreseen the dreadful outcome. From the little I know of suicide there was probably more than just this stupid prank that resulted in the decision to commit suicide.
