Those whiz kids at MIT have been at it again! They have lit up a 60W lightbulb by wireless transmission at a distance of 2 metres. At a staggering 40 percent efficiency. Oh brave new world! Is there nothing that these people can’t achieve?

Looks like a high powered team with some sophisticated gear.

It came up as a link on a USA Today site where I was reading about the shooting. I did miss the dateline, but the discussion is recent. I suspect that the links are tailored to my recent searches on cameras. Either that or it is the almighty power of the MIT publicity machine.
