I hardly hear from the Chaps anymore.
I haven’t been well and getting treatment is difficult with a false name, still one must put the best foot forward even though it is gout ridden and attached to a crippled leg with a dicky knee.
Hope you all have a spiffing Christmas and a jolly New Year.
That’s jolly unsporting of the chaps.
I have heard that gout is cured by large doses of single malt, taken orally.

Mass panic in the Sibeen household.
SWMBO is a tad of a perfectionist when it comes to xmas. So, we had twelve people coming for lunch. Twelve sets of silverware polished. Twelve place settings washed and laid out. The entree sized correctly… 36 prawns, 36 scallops and twelve serving bowls. 12 bon bons placed on the table.
Half hour ago, get a call from one of SWMBO best friends. “Hey, I’ve blown off my family, the bastards, I’m coming to your place for lunch tomorrow. Isn’t that great!”

I have been in these shoes and I know the panic you the heart… when it comes to Christmas I now always over buy because it happens nearly every Christmas that I cook.
It will all turn out for the best on the day :)

I took these years ago, they’re save on an old portable hard-drive. Just so happens I have said hard-drive plugged in right now for another purpose.
Are they uploaded somewhere?

can’t really see it, but those figurines are some fanstasy fighting men. I dressed them up with coloured paper and sticky tape.
