I hope all your wishes and dreams some true in the new year :)

I’ll be off to the city late-ish with my grandson to GS’s flat and we’ll watch the sparklies from his balcony. The man is going to drive us there then pick us up.

Well that’s the chookens with a nice clean roost, might get the whipper snipper going (if I can see sans spectacles) first, clean out the old bush house. Can always vacuum / mop / dust / polish during the night hours…I like to have something tidied up for the New Year.

33 years since our First Date…1979 New Years Eve…

I have to wait until my birthday. Mrs RB was my 21st birthday present. That makes 39 years together this next birthday which also doubles as my 60th

Possibly.. I’m expected to poke about 3,000 bamboo canes into hard clay/loam.

There are a few of us in our prime on this forum. So glad I’m not alone in my sixties.

Sounds like my whole village is asleep. Though someone is bound to let off some firecrackers at the changeover.

Felicitations to all.

I spent last night at the Cinema for their special NYE viewing watch a very young Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant in Bring Up Baby (1938) followed by 42nd Street. A lovely supper was then served while we saw the new year in.
