I have a picnic blanket and picnic basket packed, chips, dip, chocolates, flowers and fruit juice. And have teed it up with the nurses to break Mrs SS out for half an hour at midnight for a picnic on the footpath outside the hospital.

from my calculations, we should be able to see 2, maybe 3 sets of midnight fireworks.

That Telstra YouTube link is actually offering pretty good views, if you watch Full Screen…

Why not just turn on the telly?

It would mean turning round to face said telly.

Live feed for the Sydney fireworks in just over 10 minutes. Don’t know if it’s the best one on offer though:

Yeah because Sydney is the centre of the universe as we all know.
But more importantly, who will be the the first poster for 2013?

Me ?

Poo, I can smell the smoke very strongly now. But it’s not the smoke of the fireworks, it’s the smoke of the Epping Forest bushfire.

Awwwwwwwww you’re a sweetheart!!

Would not have picked you as a Chocky Cake fan, PWM… My fault, I’m sure.

I think the melody riff at the end is the very same motif that is carried right through the ‘Circus’ album from his previous band, Not Drowning Waiving.
