Is there more than one species of Oregano?

I noticed that yours was quite tall – mine is a prostrate plant.

Now which lot of codes in p/bucket did you click on to show your photo in the post, please?

thats how i like to do it – let them self seed – lazy gardening. so far dill, rocket, marigolds, barley, amaranthus and lots of wild flowers are now my substitue weeds.

We are starting to get like that. I reckon once the rains come more regular things will change at least I hope it will

rain is the essential ingredient – although many seed will lay dormant until the time is right.

Tell me Pepe…do white egg plant taste any different to the purple ones? MrP loves egg plant and I dislike them intensly. I was hoping that the white ones(I’ve never had that sort of white one)might taste better.

Is the red bouganvillia ‘Scarlet O’Hara?’ I have planted one in the last couple of weeks. Hoping it flowers like yours.

These white ‘Casper’ eggplant along with “Rosita’ eggplants are being grown here for the first time.
I tasted white eggplant in Darwin decades ago and liked them – but it probably depends on cooking methods?

ms pepe and i like that name but sorry – no idea. Whatever the name you are not going to be disappointed – scratched and overrun – but not lacking in flowers or colour.

I’d say your ‘view’ is disappearing.

its becoming ‘internalised’. its a walled garden anyrate and having a tall crop makes it appear larger because you cant see it all at once. i love looking at fast growing vege crops – better than decorative gardens because you can taste them LOL.

thanks
i’m picking lettuce, cueys, a bit of patchy corn, bok choy, spinach and a few toms at present.
there’s daikon and eggplants and a few strawbs as well with carrots and beans getting close.
good old autumn is the season of harvest.
kale is looking good but the cook can’t find any references to kale recipes.

Morning :)

Pepe your eggplant looks good enough to eat !
I cook my kale the same way as silverbeet or spinach. I have the curly Scotch kale. Young leaves are best.
