Help! My browser is no longer changing the colour of those links I’ve already clicked on. Has this happened to any of you lot? How do I fix it?

Soz, I don’t know anything about Chrome. In FF I just keep changing the settings til it works, and then restart the browser til it does what I want it to.
I did try restarting the browser.

Have you tried clearing out your cookies and updating your Java?
I’ve had the same problem with Firefox occasionally but it seems to resolve on its own after a while.

deleting browser history and caches will help

Cleared the cashe. I’ll restart again.
The problem seems to be that all the links on the left hand side of the forum are already indicating they have been opened even before I have touched them.
Wait a second. What colours are the LHS links before and after you click on them? They are staying a hot pink colour for me atm.

My browser seems to have caught the same problem… the links are staying hot pink after I click on them.

try dumping your history caches. That’s the easiest thing to do.
Restarting FF worked; it tends to lag a bit when downloading anti-virus updates.

Clearing the History caches usually does the trick, along with deleting all the temp files, etc.
