This is a good idea Lucky. All seems to be ok for my ride to your place on Wed. I will bring some BBQ contributions with me but not sure what they will be yet. Lucky I hope you all have a great time – I’m sure that you will!

Yesterday was a busy one for me. I did a bit of weeding and cleaned the house all through – boy did it need it! Even though we changed our shoes when coming in from all the digging, the sand got walked through somehow. Then I had a box from the mailman with 100 bulbs from GE. 50 Daffodils and 50 Jonquils. So they are all in the new rose bed now :)

i’m back – we ate copious amounts of food – pomolo and i had a nice red wine – we had a tour of the homestead and lucky’s carrots are looking good as well as her seedlings – elf looks fits and the potters looked relaxed – so a good day.
i took home pom’s chillie jam and bread from lucky’s as well as a jerry can of wormjuice.

Even though I tend to rabbit on about the dishes….. there was no way any visitors were doing the dishes…..

Elf cleaned up outside….. and I did all the dishes…which I have just finished.

Today was just a jab in the arm both the elf 7 I needed.

It was just wonderful meeting Mr & Mrs. HP and seeing Pomolo again….and not forgetting Pepe… as he aways brings me FAB TAB trading goodies.:D

Sitting outside in the sun with a coldie it was great to look into a face and not a computer screen. Elf and I will be tossing this subject for days back and forth… saying what a FAB TAB of a day it was and how lucky we are to have good friends, who enjoy the same interests as us… gardening.

yep, thats the brand, dad gets some from work, and since i need specail jeans i have to order them in from there as well, they looked like the work shirts my dad has to wear for work, i get speacil jeans as i am tall and skinny.

It was just wonderful meeting Mr & Mrs. HP and seeing Pomolo again….and not forgetting Pepe… as he aways brings me FAB TAB trading goodies.:D

Sitting outside in the sun with a coldie it was great to look into a face and not a computer screen. Elf and I will be tossing this subject for days back and forth… saying what a FAB TAB of a day it was and how lucky we are to have good friends, who enjoy the same interests as us… gardening.

We are really tired and off to bed in a minute, that flight back was so rough, heap’s of turbulance ..my worst nightmare. My stomach is still up there somewhere between 10 and 11 thousand meters.

Morning ..I’m catching up on earlier page’s. Thank’s for the compliments ladies :) I needed the lap band believe me, I needed to lose the excess weight and keep it off forever , I’d be a fair bit bigger now had I not had this Op. I have lost around 26 kg and 10 more to goal, my type 2 diabetes is gone, joint problem’s easing ,and the cigs will go too when I get to goal , all in my plan for living healthier …read garden longer :D

…now back from having 0.3 of a mil top up and before leaving the surgery I had to drink big cup’s of water to make sure fluid’s can go through at least.. well straight after that appt’ I had lot’s of thing’s to do down the street and got myself a big latte …all good :)
It’s fluid’s only for 24 hour’s after a top up so it will be a sustagen for me tonight, the other’s are having steak and wedge’s.

I’m jumping in right here to pass on my thanks to Lucky and the Elf for opening up their house to us all for the BBQ. I had a lovely day, re introducing myself to the feathered gang and the furry gang. First introductions to Pepe and HP and her hubby. All lovely gardening people. Pepe was thoughtful enough to contribute a bottle of red to the day so I helped him drink it. I’m very thoughtful like that. LOL.

One day when some of you get to travel to my end of this country then I would like to do the Qld BBQ for you whoever you may be.

Yes not too bad Collie, long as I cut it small and chew well, I can eat a small piece of oyster blade steak. Doubt I will be able to do that now though after yesterday’s little extra fill.. not game to try ! Heart smart mince dishes it will have to be from here on in. I have a lot of problem’s with salad’s though so I avoid them altogether.
I make my own bircher muesli and that alway’s goes down well.
