Thanks for your help the other night testing Skype. The interview didn’t go that well with Skype and we had to turn the video off.

However…… They called me back this arvo and offered me the job, on Skype…. and right when a light shower of rain went over, causing it to lose the Skype connection (but not the net)…. so not a good look to start with. Had to complete the rest of the call on landline and email.

But at least they said yes, and all is underway.

Again, thanks for helping me out which prepared me a little for what to expect when using Skype in the interview and subsequent calls.

Thanks Mr V and Skipper of Monkeys. :)

They tell me 18 hours a week, Mr V. Same pay rate as them “other” lot. Minus the 3 hour 200km daily commute for a 5 hour work day that it was. Which is no commute and no work day with them ATM anyway. This one is work from home. :)

Good news Woodie. If you lose video, you can always just turn Skype down to voice only, and text only for that matter. It is the default chat vehicle now for Microsoft.
