Purchased some herbs on the weekend, some sage, some basil, some thyme and some vietnamese mint oh and a healthy curry plant. All for K5 each.

Considering the stupidmarkets are selling bunches of these herbs for K7, getting live ones in pots may pay for themselves…

We have gone from 1.5acres to 1.5metres. Herbs in pots and a few in the ground is the calling.

We have harvested a bunch of bananas and they are fantastic! We planted them back in 2008 before we left, and they’re a cavendish and big and huge and tasty. We’ve been sharing the large hands with all and sundry.

It is always cheaper to grow your own than buy it from a dealer man.. you know that.

I do plan on growing Coriander. Many herbs are a bit hit or miss at the Stupidmarkets. One day they are overstocked and the next; empty shelves.

Fenugreek seeds are up
Rocket is rocketing along
Harvesting bananas again
The perennial bean is flowering.
The okari tree is ripe
