AFAIK, absolutely nobody.
Somebody does tidy things up from time to time, but I have no idea who. The moderators are as silent as ghosts.

As I’ve never seen one instance of it, I dare say it is the lightest moderation that I’ve ever experienced.

Very rarely, but every now and again threads get deleted.
so few people visit this forum theres no need for moderation
a troll feeds on a large audience, larger sites don’t just attract them because of the statistically greater chance created by larger numbers of people

It’s probably cb88 ( may his tribe increase).

Strangely enough, this forum has more less mastered the art of ignoring blatant trolling.

Well, it is cb88’s forum so maybe he occasionally cleans up extraneous stuff.

the way i cope with all the trolling here is to bottle it all up and push it down deep
I don’t mean you, Wookie.
i think there was a very brief visit a while ago but as i said , it needs large numbers of people who will be enraged
a troll needs a large audience

Occasionally, very occasionally, I’ve been frustrated by some of the antics that do go on here. My coping mechanism is to just wait for the daily version of the “Wookie Report”. I do find succour in the sanity that prevails, and the all pervading miasma of peace that fills the forum, upon its release.

i tend to use personal experience and relate various stories
the hallmark of a troll is relatively short passages and abuse being hurled, theres no consideration and can only be one view that will be defended to the death – or at least until all resistance has evaporated

the numbers of people that would come here wouldn’t number anymore than about 10
actually
talking about myself, i googled “Boudouard reaction carbon capture” and my comments on it here
http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=boudouard%20reaction%20carbon%20capture&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&ved=0CEoQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftokyo3.org%2Fforums%2Fholiday%2Ftopics%2F2420%2F&ei=TUMzUdrgCIakiAf8m4D4Dw&usg=AFQjCNFMe_7UlSMsBR0kLh3-HjdQK6K_rw&bvm=bv.43148975,d.aGc
came up fourth

Yeah, probably about 20-30 regulars, maybe not much more than 10 online at a time.

just to conclude with the carbon capture idea i was playing with a while ago
i found the reaction in a book perhaps two years ago
i won my debate with morrie
i’ve been thinking that my first task when i build my shed should be removing carbon from the air, its been mentioned here that they will give you money for it
my vision that i see is some small conveyor belt that fills a 1m cube box with carbon from the air a day, if i could sell that to some sucker i’d be set

Let me know when you need the conveyor belt and I may be able to assist.
the heat as i’ve mentioned in the past will come from the sun
i’ve seen various things where people make solar furnaces, the solar furnace could be used to heat the calcium carbonate , thus driving off pure CO2 and further heating it beyond 700 deg before cooling it and possible creating seeding places for the carbon

No. Kinetics will defeat you. As will an abysmal thermal efficiency.
Still better to stimulate forest regeneration.

well the wiki article says that carbon is created, all i’m doing with the hot carbon monoxide would be recycling it using free energy
trees do that

the chemical way uses free energy and reuseable reactants and has a much smaller footprint

Biochar is a vastly simpler route to the same end.
the forces of nature in forests can achieve the same goal
