It sounds like the last disk file is missing.

Are there any other folders?

Hmmm. If you zip up a folder, the resulting zip archive is a file. If Windows thinks that it’s a folder, then Something Weird is going on. Try renaming the folder to Introduction and then see what happens when you try to open it.

But I suspect that the zip archive is corrupt. This kind of error can occur if the USB stick is removed from the computer before the zip file is fully copied to it. Whenever you write to a USB it’s a Good Idea to ask the OS’s permission to remove it; IIRC, Windows has a little icon in the system tray that you click on to safely remove USB drives.

So she’ll probably have to d/l the files again, and to be on the safe side, format the USB drive first, in case the file system got damaged by the premature removal. The USB stick’s hardware is probably OK, but it might not be; re-formatting will discover if the hardware’s damaged.

Sounds like she didn’t get all the files.

thanks guys. yeah I d/l them one by one and now they open.
However, I cannot play the swf files.
d/l adobe and associated adobe files, including adobe flash.
still won’t play.
I just d/l air and muse (both adobe) and am about to reboot, see what happens.
she needs to watch minimum 3 lectures by Monday. not looking good for being on target.
you can watch them online, but the screen is about 3” x 2” with no way to make it bigger.
off to see what happens next

Before you do anything silly, purple, like tearing your hair out, try this: open a browser, click on File->Open file, and select the swf you’re trying to play.
